SEX OFFENDER TEAM ACHIEVES EARLY SUCCESS: Sex Offender Apprehension Team Tracks Down First Warrant
RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, October 23, 2008: Riverside County District Attorney Rod Pacheco announced that the recently created Sex Offender Apprehension Team is already yielding positive results in their efforts to clear out the 388 active felony sex offender warrants in Riverside County.
Paul Alois Adamski, 37, has been located in an Outagamie County, Wisconsin jail where he is being held for sex crimes that he committed in Outagamie County. The Sex Offender Apprehension Team confirmed his status in the Wisconsin jail and placed a hold on him. Once the judicial process is completed in Wisconsin, the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office will bring him to California to face prosecution.
Adamski is wanted in Riverside County for committing 5 felony sex crimes including oral copulation and lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14. Adamski committed multiple aggravated sex crimes with a young female from 1994 through 2000.
“These sex offenders are very dangerous and cannot be left unchecked. We will continue to search until every last sex offender is removed from our community and held accountable for their crimes,” said District Attorney Rod Pacheco. The Sex Offender Apprehension Team was announced on Monday and began working immediately to track down felony sex offender warrants in Riverside County.
