Police: Two Perris men arrested after probe of child pornography

William Ward, 30, and Gregory Noble, 44, have been taken into custody following the probe by the Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement Task Force:

Two Perris men have been arrested after investigators looking into child pornography said they uncovered evidence that a 10-year-old child had been sexually victimized repeatedly, said Sgt. Bruce Smith.
William Ward, 30, and Gregory Noble, 44, have been taken into custody following the probe by the Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement Task Force and investigators from the Perris Police Department, Smith said in a news release.
A lengthy, joint-agency investigation regarding suspected possession of child pornography culminated March 8 after a search warrant was served at a residence in the 1800 block of River Road in Perris, Smith said. During the investigation, he said, there was evidence revealing the recent, repeated sexual victimization of a 10-year-old Perris-area child.
This crime was previously unreported and unknown to law enforcement, Smith said.
Police investigators have been in contact with the family of the child.
The task force is a collaboration of multi-disciplined law enforcement agencies including the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Riverside County Probation Department, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, California Department of Justice, and Corona Police Department.
