SAFE Task Force arrests Indio man on attempted sex with a minor.
INDIO – Today, Oct. 13, 2011, investigators from the eastern team of the
Riverside County SAFE Task Force arrested an Indio man for attempted unlawful
sexual intercourse with a minor.
Jesse Israel Loredo, DOB: 4-9-1977, was arrested on an outstanding felony
warrant for attempted unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor in case number
INF1100848. Desert Hot Springs police requested the assistance of the Sexual
Assault Felony Enforcement Team (SAFE) in locating and arresting Loredo on
the outstanding $25,000 arrest warrant. Task Force members determined his last
address to be in the 81-200 block of Miles Avenue, Indio. At about 2:15 p.m.
today, SAFE investigators went there and found Loredo in a garden shed in the
backyard of the Miles Avenue address. Loredo was arrested without incident and
booked at the Indio Jail. The victim in the criminal case was known to Loredo.
The SAFE Task Force is a collaboration of multi-disciplined law enforcement
agencies including the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, Riverside
County Sheriff’s Department, Riverside County Probation Department, California
Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, California Department of Justice,
and Corona Police Department. Working together in seamless cooperation,
SAFE Task Force personnel are focused on reducing incidents of sexual assault
countywide by means of comprehensive registered sex offender monitoring and
enforcement.
