Welcome to our website. We hope you find the information, news, and resources helpful. We encourage everyone to connect with us through social media to stay informed and see the incredible work the members of this task force are doing on a daily basis to keep the people of Riverside County safe.

Our Mission

The mission of the Riverside County Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement (SAFE)/Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is two-fold:

  • To keep registered sex offenders accountable through filed audits and enforcement
  • To combat the online sexual exploitation of children

The Riverside County Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement/Internet Crimes Against Children (SAFE/ICAC) task force is a DA Bureau of Investigation led team of local, state and federal law enforcement officials dedicated to proactively monitor and track registered sex offenders to ensure their compliance with registration requirements, and to protect our children through community education and the identification, apprehension and prosecution of those who commit internet crimes against children.

HAVE A TIP?

Do you have information about an internet crime or sexual predator? Use our online form to give us information. You can remain anonymous.

Careful What You Share Online

Whether you are a child, teen, or adult, you have to be careful what you share online. In fact, you need to be careful not just online, but anywhere digital.

We know it might sound cliche, but if your mother would not approve of what you share with someone on social media, a website, in an email, or through a text message, then you probably shouldn't post it.

As part of our mission to educate the community, we would be happy to give a presentation to you and your organization.

California's Megan's Law provides the public with certain information on the whereabouts of sex offenders so that members of our local communities may protect themselves and their children.

Megan's Law is named after seven-year-old Megan Kanka, a New Jersey girl who was raped and killed by a known child molester who had moved across the street from the family without their knowledge. In the wake of the tragedy, the Kankas sought to have local communities warned about sex offenders in the area. All states now have a form of Megan's Law.

In the event you need help with a matter involving a sexual assault or any other crime, you must contact the law enforcement agency where the crime occurred. If you live in Riverside County, you can click on the button below to see a list of agencies within the county.
